Dr. Mike Felix has more than 40 years’ leadership experience in telecom and high tech, changing outcomes by changing the culture through developing, coaching, and mentoring emerging leaders. Dr. Felix has held senior leadership positions in both large and small companies, having started his career as a radio and telephone systems engineer. He has led several venture-capital backed startups and turn-arounds, having managed operations in the U.S. and Europe. Most recently, Mike held several senior leadership positions at one of the world's largest telecom companies, where he managed several operating divisions. During his tenure there, Dr. Felix developed a mentoring structure and curriculum, and was instrumental in shaping the leadership training program, speaking regularly to classes of emerging leaders. He was also a senior mentoring advisor to several employee resource groups.

In addition to his operating roles, for the past 30 years, Dr. Felix has served as an advisor to boards and leaders of several start-up companies and non-profit enterprises. He currently is an active advisor to two technology startups and three national/ international ministries, and serves as chairman of a Chicago-based inner-city mentoring ministry. Previously, Dr. Felix has served as chairman of a major university foundation, and a state-owned investment bank. Mike has also served on the boards of several technology companies, a private venture-capital firm, a public-policy forum for the Arctic, three K-12 private schools, and several non-profit organizations.

Dr. Felix has a B.S. in electrical engineering from the University of South Florida, an M.A. in psychology, and a Ph.D. in media psychology from Fielding Graduate University. He is an aspiring author, with three books currently in progress. One on mentoring as the means to building diversity, one on hiring practices for field organizations, and one on employee engagement as the driver of improving results. He and his wife, Bethany, reside at Lake Burton in NE Georgia, and have three adult children and four grandchildren.
